Reinhard Osthus
has been a member of the executive management of arvato Entertainment since 2010 and responsible for the sales area of games in EMEA. He was born on November 28, 1952 in Herzebrock-Clarholz.
After studying business administration and sociology at the University of Bielefeld, including a one-year study period in Brazil, Reinhard Osthus started his career at Sonopress GmbH in the sales department where he was responsible for the video marketing segment.
In 1985 he moved to the newly created data carrier sales department where, already in the initial stages, important contacts for the company’s development as leading service provider in software duplication were established.
In 1992 Osthus became information carrier sales manager and consequently expanded the company’s position in these markets, including OEM business and the video game sector.
In 2008 as Vice President Games EMEA he moved to the top of this sales area, a position which also makes him responsible for the industrial customers sector.
